Marley Striem is a twenty-year-old musician from New York City. Primarily known for her bass playing, Marley is a touring and session bassist with extensive background in both American Popular Music and Jazz. She studies Bass Performance while working toward her Bachelors Degree at Berklee College of Music on a full tuition scholarship. Marley is set to graduate in May 2025, a year earlier than anticipated. Under the mentorship of renowned musicians like Chris Loftlin (Brian McKnight), Kirk Douglas (The Roots), John Patitucci (Chick Corea Band), and others, Marley has cultivated an aptitude for studying the history of music which becomes evident in her playing. Her ethos as a musician prioritzes listening to others and illustrating respect and responsibility towards whatever repertoire she is met with, while offering vibrant and fitting energy in her stage performance.
With versatile and virtuosic abilities beyond the Electric Bass, Marley is also available for Acoustic Bass, Key Bass Synthesizers, and Vocals. Marley has experience with Music Direction as she programs live tracks and arrangments, as well as runs playback for touring bands.
